Therapy

Therapy for the over-intellectualizers, the former “good kids,” the ones who seem to have it all together

So maybe things look ok from the outside, you’re managing the day-to-day. Maybe people even look up to you and applaud all that you seem to have going on. You’re a reliable, responsible friend and coworker and great at taking care of others. But when it comes to yourself? Inside something just feels off. You feel empty or lonely or always just a little on edge, bracing for something…or everything?

Maybe you even get it. You have a nice, clean, reasonable story as to why you feel this way. Your smart brain knows! But you still have that same nagging feeling, or you still slip into the same patterns, or you still keep snapping at the same people and things. You have so many beautiful skills that have helped you survive and gotten you this far! And yet you’re still looking for something else.

Sound familiar? I know because I’ve been there. So I also know that you deserve to release the tension, to have a space to just be, and to even give that big brain a break and get to feel a feeling (I know, feel a feeling!? How? Why??)! I promise it’s worth it. And you don’t have to do it all by yourself.

I support folks who want to get out of their heads and back into their emotions, feelings and sensations. Together, we’ll create a space to safely attend to your nervous system and not just understand the past, but to transform its impact on you today.

I don’t tell you what to do or give you the answers. In our sessions, I’ll help you slow things down and get to the roots, while drawing out the wisdom and strength you already have.

If any of this resonates, you are welcome here, and I’d love to meet you.
